The 10 yard rental dumpster is about 16 feet long, 4 feet tall, and 7.5 feet wide. This makes it ideal for smaller projects. Otherwise, this size dumpster is often employed for little patios or porches when you want to create something bigger or new in the backyard. If the removal is going to pair with a subsequent addition, you may opt for a bigger dumpster.
The 20 Yard Deck
Most decks will fit into this medium-sized dumpster rental, which measures about 22 feet long, 4.5 feet tall, and 7.5 feet wide. If your deck is between 300 and 400 square feet in size, this is the dumpster size to go with. You can also go for this size dumpster if you have a smaller deck but want to also add in some other materials, perhaps from a nearby walkway or fence that was near the deck to clear the backyard for a fresh start.
The 30 Yard Deck
The 30 yard dumpster is the largest, and it is great for bigger decks, patios, or porches. This dumpster measures 22 feet long, 6 feet tall, and 7.5 feet wide, so it is known for taking on massive jobs, which often aren’t deck removals but for small house demolitions. If you have a lengthy wraparound deck, however, this is the dumpster for the job: it can hold up to 750 square feet of deck. Or, perhaps you have a smaller deck that encases an above-ground pool. This dumpster would work great for that as it can hold the deck and the pool materials, too.
