Frequently Asked Questions
This is not required, but it can help — especially for the initial drop off so we know exactly where to put it. If someone can’t be there for drop off, not a big deal. Simply give us a call so we can discuss where it would be best to leave the dumpster so that you are happy with its placement.
Our company works across northern New Jersey, including Union, Hudson, Passaic, Bergen, Morris, Essex, Somerset, and Middlesex counties.
Yes. At Trash It, we want to work with the client’s budget and needs, and if that means paying in installments or setting up a rental package, we are happy to work with that.
A good question: hazardous, toxic, and flammable materials can not go into our dumpsters. For a full list of such materials, which also include batteries and computers, visit our What Can’t Be Put in a Dumpster page.
We always try our best to meet the customer’s needs. Your location and the time of day at which you call may impact same-day drop off and pick up, but we will always strive to meet your needs and will give you a clear and honest response.
A number of factors impact our pricing. Those are outlined below, and we recommend calling or emailing and we can provide a quick quote:
- Location: Each county has unique waste management rules, which impact final pricing. Get in touch to ask about your county’s pricing so we can give you the most accurate quote possible.
- Time: How long you require your dumpster rental for, be it a one-off project or ongoing service, will influence the pricing.
- Waste material: Finally, your waste materials will affect where we bring your waste and what the pricing of each material is. We always work to bring you the best prices. Additionally, how much of your waste there is, weight-wise, will impact pricing — going over is fine and simply incurs costs on top of the pre-determined rate.
This varies. Most people rent a dumpster for about a week, but it changes depending on the project. Give us a call to learn more and to let us know what your project entails.
We offer three convenient sizes, the 10 yard, 20 yard, and 30 yard dumpster rental. Each is geared toward specific kinds of jobs, and you can learn more about each on our sizing page.
